Please note that International Students who are looking to apply for a student visa must have an offer letter (and confirmation of enrolment) for a CRICOS approved course.

Without the need for high overheads and heavy operational costs, we’re able to focus on providing a service that is student-centric. We focused on feedback loops, reviewing content and courses, to ensure what each unique student wants, is reflected in their educational journey in Australia.

As we are a start-up in the industry, we also embody a start-up mentality. If we don’t know the answer to your question, we have relationships with other specialist in the fields of education and immigration, who most likely will.

We have an extensive network and can partner with a large number of Australia’s best universities and colleges. If you are interested in a school outside of our network we will contact the school on your behalf to initiate an agreement. If the school isn’t interested in working with us, we’ll refer you to another agency partner who has an agreement with the school. No worries. We want to create the best experiences for students which means giving you what you want, especially when it comes to furthering your education.

Only when we need one! (physical offices are so passé). We are a virtual office and hold meetings in co working spaces in each capital city. We’re focused on minimising our carbon footprint as well as offering our students the best experience for their money spent (we also like offering all of our staff a flexible working environment).

We’re here to service your journey for the duration of your study in Australia. As long as you have a phone, you have us! We’re committed to ensuring your educational journey is what you want it to be. If you run into trouble with you school, landlord or teacher, we’ll be here to go into bat for you.

Current legislation in Australia states you need to study 6 months of your principal course before changing. That’s why we want to know as much about you we can, to avoid any miss-match between what you want to study, the course offered, the school and its culture. We never downplay the impact a schools culture may have on the students experience. We also want to ensure the best cultural fit with you and your classroom.

No worries at all. If you want to change your course or school, we here to make that happen. Every student and their journey is different and we love that. There is no ‘one size fits all’ mentality at Urban Student. Whatever this issue is with your study or educational institution, we’re here to support you in resolving it. We are all about your journey, and you enjoying it, how best suits you!

We’re relatively new on paper, started in October 2018, but don’t let that deter you. Between our team, we have over +30 years combined experience working in the education Industry, and have attended many ICEF and International education events. Since we launched we now have partnerships with over 20 institutes, migration agents, accommodation providers and health insurers (all bases covered).
