Because the diploma is mostly a stepping stone, the single most important thing to check is the articulation agreement: confirm in writing, direct with the receiving university, exactly how much credit your specific diploma earns toward a specific bachelor’s degree, since informal claims from a college’s marketing material don’t always match what the university actually grants.
